"Alfredo Moser is a modern-day Thomas Edison, whose invention is lighting up the world. In 2002, the Brazilian mechanic had his own light-bulb moment and came up with way of illuminating his house during the day without electricity - using nothing more than plastic bottles filled with water and a tiny bit of bleach.

Street artist ABOVE is known for his intellectual graffiti work, and his newest series is no different

His latest project, titled Timing is Everything, features a stencil work of a breakdancer who can only be fully appreciated at night when he propels himself onto a street sign shadow. ABOVE spent the past seven months looking for the perfect fixed shadow.

Most of ABOVE's stencil work addresses controversial topics, such as financial greed and politics. His paintings often speak to his displeasure with the financial system, and the discrepancies between the rich and the poor. His 2012 mural piece, 24 Desempleados , was inspired by photos of unemployment queues in Zaragozo, Spain. And after the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti, he created Help Thy Neighbor , a heartwarming art project that asked for donations toward relief efforts.
